Our mission is as important today as it was then.

The impact of Covid-19 continues to shape our experiences. Impact is felt by all, In addition to the recent Supreme Court rulings on women’s reproductive rights and affirmative action, we are at a pivotal moment.

SNMA has embarked on an ambitious campaign to raise $600,000 for the 60th Anniversary in 2024.

We’ve created several categories of support for individual, institutional, corporate and foundation donors. These categories offer donors the opportunity to align with initiatives that impact our members.

Medicine is hard! As the oldest and largest membership organization for underrepresented medical students with more than 7,000 members at 150 allopathic and osteopathic medical schools, and 95 MAPS chapters at undergraduate institutions, we help foster a sense of community, support, and networking.

AMEC 2024

Join us in New Orleans, LA

AMEC is the largest annual event for SNMA, bringing together thousands of members, advocates, supporters, and past Alumni. The conference includes exhibit and sponsor opportunities as well as education for Medical and Premedical Students. We will celebrate our 60th Anniversary AMEC in New Orleans, LA, don't miss this historic event.
